Busy Saturday

This was the last week of summer for my husband, and the last opportunity he had to clean out the shed...the dreaded project had been on the horizon for a while and yet kept getting put off. SOO Saturday we finished this week long project with several trips to the dump.
Needless to say it has been a long busy Saturday, but we are glad this project,
 "Shed Cleanup 2011"is finally done!

Now the question you may be asking is what do you make for your family dinner after such a long day? While drive-up or take-out may be tempting we opted for a simple meal that may even be a little quicker than that!

EASY TACOS

prep time: about 10 min.                                  servings: 4
1lb ground hamburger browned and seasoned (any Taco seasoning of your choice)
1 can refried beans of your choice
1 Large tomato sliced
graded cheese
Large tortillas softened, we chose whole wheat
sour cream
~You may top your tacos with any of your favorite ingredients but this was our combination as I was not going to the grocery after such a long day, and I was willing to accommodate my youngest who doesn't eat anything green!

Fist Post

My name is Lisa and this is my BLOG!

I am a mother of two energetic boys and my husband is a full-time student. I also work part time as a daycare teacher.
My Dear Husband usually does all the cooking for our family, but now that he is going back to school I will be entering THE CARING KITCHEN as I, the novice cook, prepare meals and sweet treats for our family.
